My personal teaching style revolves around the overall wellness of a person and not just limited to Asanas. Hence in my class, I include a mix of philosophy, pranayama, Dharana, Dhyana in addition to asanas. The one thing that my students can’t expect from my class is a routine / pattern as I try to keep each of my class different from the other. I emphasize on body, breathing and mind in each asana of my class.
Your favourite asana?
South Indian Food
When you were a student what inspired you to live your yoga?
Yoga happened to me in a slow and steady phase. I fell in love with yoga on my own in a very slow manner. I have done self practise for many a years by reading books and practising. When I realised I was ready to share my love for yoga with others, then I started acquiring certifications to become a qualified teacher.
“Yoga takes you into the present moment, the only place where life exists.”
Your goal as a yoga teacher?
I envision myself to be deeper Practitioner and Grounded teacher. Yoga is a blessing and I love sharing it with others. I would like continue conducting retreats in the heart of India, so people can feel for themselves that how yoga, religion, culture and the people have evolved together in complete harmony.
