What inspires you most when teaching students?
My personal teaching style revolves around the overall wellness of a person and not just limited to Asanas. Hence in my class, I include a mix of philosophy, pranayama, Dharana, Dhyana in addition to asanas. The one thing that my students can’t expect from my class is a routine / pattern as I try to keep each of my class different from the other. I emphasize on body, breathing and mind in each asana of my class.

When you were a student what inspired you to live your yoga?
Yoga happened to me in a slow and steady phase. I fell in love with yoga on my own in a very slow manner. I have done self practise for many a years by reading books and practising. When I realised I was ready to share my love for yoga with others, then I started acquiring certifications to become a qualified teacher.

“Yoga takes you into the present moment, the only place where life exists.”

Your goal as a yoga teacher?
I envision myself to be deeper Practitioner and Grounded teacher. Yoga is a blessing and I love sharing it with others. I would like continue conducting retreats in the heart of India, so people can feel for themselves that how yoga, religion, culture and the people have evolved together in complete harmony.

Your hope for the students from your training?
Karma Yoga. Yoga of action inaction. When you have a duty to perform, why not go ahead and give our best every time. It also gives me an opportunity to let go my worries and focus on the yoga class alone with Dharana & Dhyana
